Travel Ritual Poem #3

When in doubt
When looking out a window

As one put upon to put it on the altar
As anger, as bloodshed, as long as you're asking

What voices and interruptions and meaning it when it matters
What averages, what wandering, what wonder

And they beg pardon or indifference
And then silenced at the border.

Every day finds its end
Every echo finds a cliff

Conserve your energy, the clouds are gathering
