I "Drape" rather than fold. Home or abroad, things get draped over a chair or suitcase or whatever's handy, then there's a reevaluation at some point and some draped clothes get folded and some get laundered.
And I'm doing this National Poetry Writing Month thing that the wonderful Maureen Thorson shepherds. Apologies in advance for ignoring (most of) the prompts.
Jamie is a co-director of Narrow House, bass player for Sweatpants, and pretty serious about fish tacos. He lives in Baltimore and works in DC at Threespot.
This is how he gets his Facebook on.

I do what Jessica does, but at home only.
Adding an "other" selection...
If you fold them, they'll take up the same amount of room on the return trip. Important knowledge for us on-the-limit packers.
I go even a step further by creating a gradient of folded clothing from dirty to kind of dirty to mostly clean.
I'm a drapper and a folder... and I use the plastic liner of the ice bucket for dirty socks.
