I had these massive thumbs

I was reenacting something important and uncontrollable

Wielding, welding, woodwork, memories

Sunrise, sore shoulders, woodsmoke, feelings

Present like a symptom

Collapse the ankle

Like mere minutes

You can take speech out of circulation

You can take pennies away because they cost so much

You can put jeans in the dryer with stones and coins and they'll look older

You can wash things by hand in cold water

Look at your palms

Look at the back of your hands

Consider dirt and grass
